LANBI has recently supplied a Suspension Ball Joint Assembly Machine to an OEM Ball Joint manufacturing company.

Two operators are attending the line, loading the components manually and then all the operations are carried out automatically around a rotary table, getting a cycle time of 8 seconds per part. Two different technologies are provided for ball joint closing: 50KN rolling or 400KN crimping. Assemblies are 100% torque controlled and unloading is also automatic, separating the rejected parts.

Full traceability is available in the machine, providing graphics for Rolling (Load vs Stroke), Crimping (Load vs Stroke) and Torque Control (Torque vs Angle) operations.
