LANBI has successfully delivered two high-performance milling and sawing machines for automotive door hinges to a leading automotive supplier.
The newly installed systems have been specifically designed to automate the production of automotive door hinges from laminated profiles. Each machine is fed with six-meter-long bars stored in an integrated bar magazine, ensuring continuous and efficient operation with minimal operator intervention.
The manufacturing process is completed in two sequential operations. First, the hinge profile is precision-milled to create the required geometry. In the second stage, the individual hinges are cut from the profile, producing finished components.
To meet the demanding productivity targets, LANBI developed the machines to process four hinges simultaneously. This multi-part machining strategy enables the equipment to achieve the cycle times required by high-volume automotive production environments, while maintaining strict quality and dimensional accuracy standards.
This project demonstrates LANBI’s capability to deliver customized turnkey solutions that combine automation, precision machining, and high throughput for the automotive sector.
