1969-1978
Main activity is production of specialized machines for sport guns and automated solutions for machine toolindustry.
1986-2000
Machines for automotives is LANBI’s main market, with an export ratio of 25%.
2008-2018
LANBI’s core product is machines for steering & suspension systems, especially assembly lines for ball joints and control arms, ball stud manufacturing cells, housing machining transfers and pressing cells for knuckles and frames.
Export ratio is over 90%.
1969
LANBI is founded in Elgoibar, the Basque Country
1979-1985
LANBI continues to manufacture special machines, but focused on the automotive industry, which is developing quickly in the area.
The first machines are supplied to the DELPHI and RENAULT groups. LANBI begins with exports.
2001-2007
LANBI is led by the second generation.
The main products are machines for steering & suspension, pedal boxes, handbrake levers and hinges.
Export ratio exceeds 50%.
Machine number 1,000 is delivered to TENNECO AUTOMOTIVE.
2019-2022
North America becomes LANBI’s main market, accounting for over 50% of sales.
LANBI machines are connected to the LANBI Digital Platform, launching a new era of data analysis.
