Steering systems
LANBI assembly solutions for steering systems cover a wide range of operations, such as functional tests, silicone and gap-filler dispensing, vision control, electronic screwdriving with automatic feeding of screws, electric presses, calibration and functional tests, labelling, curing, leak tests, everything mounted on a part traceability system, for complete control of each finished part.
LANBI provides lines for rack and pinion systems, MCU motors, sensor and inner and outer ball joints.
Gap filler dispensing
By means of XYZ Cartesian systems or robotised arms, together with vision cameras, mono or bi-component pastes like silicone or gap filler are dosed, controlled and monitored.
Screwdriving
Torque and angle-controlling electronic screwdrivers, including automatic bolt feeding, are used to join the EPS motor board to the aluminium housing. These screwdrivers are mounted on XYZ Cartesian systems or robotised arms.
Functional test
Steering rack & pinion torque and wear-in test, and hall call calibration test for the MCU unit are common technologies for testing and verifying the integrity and performance of steering components.
