LANBI has successfully supplied a high-production assembly line for Steering Outer Ball Joints to the North American automotive market, reinforcing its position as a technology partner for advanced and highly automated automotive manufacturing solutions for Steering and Suspension Systems.

The newly delivered equipment has been designed for high-volume production and maximum flexibility, with the capability to manufacture 11 different models on the same production system.

With a cycle time of just 6 seconds per part, the line combines high productivity with robust process control and the quality standards required for automotive component manufacturing.

One of the key features of the production process is a fully automated thermal stabilization oven. This process ensures the homogenization and stabilization of the ball joint torque, contributing to consistent performance across the entire life of the part.

The line also incorporates 100% inspection and control of the assembly process. Each ball joint is individually checked to verify that the required torque value is within specification and that all components have been correctly assembled.

The project demonstrates LANBI’s expertise in developing flexible, automated and high-performance assembly solutions for Ball Joints, combining productivity with advanced process control and quality assurance.

By supplying this advanced manufacturing solution to the North American market, LANBI continues to strengthen its international presence and its commitment to providing innovative automation technology tailored to the demanding requirements of the global automotive industry.
