
We’re proud to announce a breakthrough in automation for suspension manufacturers: LANBI’s new state-of-the-art assembly system for high-precision bushing press-fitting into knuckles. This turnkey solution redefines flexibility, traceability, and efficiency.
Our fully automated cell handles multiple knuckle and bushing references with zero manual intervention. Knuckles arrive via conveyor pallets from machining and washing area and they are robotically transferred to the press station. Meanwhile, automated feeders supply bushings, with a dedicated robot ensuring perfect alignment into the press nose.
The system features two LANBI 100KN servo presses, each equipped with servo-controlled press nose systems for automatic adjustment. This enables instant changeover between reference, achieving true zero changeover time and maximizing productivity.
Every knuckle is tracked with a DMCode, recording press-fit results for full traceability and quality assurance. Finished parts are automatically unloaded onto a finished goods conveyor, enabling lights-out production.
