LANBI integrates own designed 50 and 100 KN standard electric presses, including SIEMENS, OMRON or ALLEN BRADLEY Servomotors. Force or distance can be programmed as a target and in both cases load vs displacement is monitored, graphed and saved.

Most of LANBI assembly machines include laser system to mark a DMC on the parts. In this way all the collected data during the assembly and control process is related to each specific part and saved in the machine PC. Just reading the DMC code of the part, part history is available.

Tool Monitoring System is available in order to detect tool break, predict tool wear and definetively extend tool life. Some anomalies like presence of chips are also brougth to light, avoiding scrap parts. This device generates cost save to customer and reduce the need of further operator part inspections.

The production processes proposed by LANBI include part measuring. Part control after machining enables automatic CNC machine off-sets, avoiding parts out of tolerance and machine stops, reducing operator manpower and thanks to this, increase productivity.

Outer Tie Rod housing is machined using flexible fixtures. Heads are turned both sides and tails are faced, drilled and tapped with servo systems. Thanks to tool monitoring and auto part measuring, further operator verifications are minimized.

Ball Pins are machined in LANBI CNC lathes by means of double clamp. At first clamp shank is cut using a 4 stations turret and at second clamp ball is cut and burnished by means of a polar servo-system. Single and double versions are available, depending on customer volumes.

Axial End Play operation is available in LANBI assembly lines or can be supplied separately as stand alone machine for Labs. Test is done with ±2000-5000N force and N/sec ramp is controlled, thanks to servo-motorized actuator.

After Rolling operation, in some cases, depending on Ball Joint design, part is baked in an oven at a temperature close to 100ºC. LANBI integrates robotized ovens and after baking torques are controlled, and the assembly process is finished.

LANBI lathes for Stabilizer Link Ball pins have an output of 5,5 seconds per part, thanks to double XZ servo-slides. Process is done in several steps using different cutters in order to get an optimal quality and ease chip removal.

100% Crack detection is necessary to detect material failures. Control is done through Eddy currents and one or two probes are used, while the pin is rotating. Thread rolling, hardness, dimensional and thread verification are also available.
